By downloading, accessing, or using Vane, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Vane.
What Vane provides
Vane is a weather application developed and operated by CodeArc.studio. It provides weather information, forecasts, alerts, personalized descriptions, check-ins, and related features. Features may change as Vane is developed and improved.
Weather information is not guaranteed
Weather information is based on forecasts and data from third-party sources. Forecasts can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. Conditions can also change quickly. Vane does not guarantee that weather data, timing, alerts, or personalized descriptions will always be correct.
Personalized guidance
Vane may use your check-ins and preferences to describe how weather is likely to feel to you. Personalized descriptions are estimates, not promises. Your actual experience can differ because of activity, clothing, health, environment, exposure, and other factors.
Suggestions about clothing, sunscreen, umbrellas, outdoor comfort, or similar topics are general informational guidance only.
Safety and emergencies
Do not rely on Vane as your only source for emergency, severe-weather, medical, travel, or safety-critical decisions. Follow official weather alerts, emergency services, local authorities, and qualified professionals when appropriate.
Vane is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. Air quality, UV, heat, cold, and other conditions can affect people differently.
Availability and changes
Vane may be changed, updated, interrupted, limited, or discontinued at any time. Some features may depend on your location, device, permissions, internet access, Apple services, or third-party data sources.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Vane, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected portions except where permitted by law, use Vane to violate applicable law, or abuse support or service infrastructure.
Intellectual property
Vane, its branding, design, original content, software, and related materials are owned by CodeArc.studio or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party trademarks and data remain the property of their respective owners.
Third-party services
Vane may rely on Apple services and other third-party services or data providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies. CodeArc.studio is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vane is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeArc.studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Vane, or from reliance on weather information or personalized guidance. Applicable law may give you rights that cannot be limited by these terms.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Vane changes. Continued use of Vane after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law. Material changes may be communicated through the app, website, or another reasonable method.
