VaneWeather, the way it feels to you.

We all experience weather differently. Vane learns what different conditions feel like to you, so your forecast becomes more useful the more you use it. All the weather information you expect is still there when you want it.

Weather is not one-size-fits-all.

The same temperature can feel chilly to one person, comfortable to another, and warm to someone else. Vane is built around that simple idea.

More useful weather

A forecast that means something to you.

Vane keeps the familiar parts of a weather app, then adds a personal layer that helps explain what the conditions are likely to feel like.

01

Personal feel

Vane learns how you experience different temperatures and conditions, then uses that understanding throughout your forecast.

02

Clear guidance

See useful language alongside the numbers, whether it is rain later, strong UV, or weather that is likely to feel warmer or cooler to you.

03

Still a full forecast

Temperature, rain, wind, humidity, UV, air quality and the rest stay available whenever you want the details.

Sense

Vane gets more familiar with you over time.

Sense is the name for the part of Vane that learns from your check-ins. The more Vane sees how different weather feels to you, the better it can personalize what comes next.

Check in when it is useful.

Vane can occasionally ask how the weather feels when a check-in would actually help. You can also check in yourself anytime if you notice something worth teaching Vane.

As Vane experiences more kinds of weather with you, your calibration becomes more complete and future forecasts can feel more familiar.

How it works

Simple check-ins. Better forecasts.

You do not need to teach Vane everything at once. It starts with a rough idea, then improves naturally as you use it.

01

Start with what you know

A few quick questions can give Vane a starting point. Anything you are not sure about can be skipped.

02

Check in sometimes

When the weather is useful to learn from, Vane can ask how it feels. One quick answer is enough.

03

Let Vane adapt

As the seasons change and you experience more conditions, Vane keeps refining the way it describes your forecast.

Privacy

Your weather should feel personal, not invasive.

Vane is being designed with privacy in mind from the start. Your personal weather experience is there to make the app more useful to you, and you stay in control of it.

Vane Weather

A forecast that feels more like yours.

Vane is still taking shape. The idea is simple: weather that becomes easier to understand because it gets to know the way you experience it.
