About Vane

Weather should mean more than a number.

Vane is a personalized weather app for iPhone built around a simple idea: the same weather does not feel the same to everyone.

Why Vane exists

A forecast can be accurate and still miss the point.

Weather apps are good at telling us the temperature, humidity, wind and chance of rain. Those numbers matter, but they do not automatically explain whether a particular day is going to feel comfortable to a particular person.

Vane keeps the full forecast and adds a personal layer called Sense. Through optional check-ins, Sense can become more familiar with how different conditions feel to you.

The goal is not to hide the weather behind a score. It is to make the forecast easier to understand while keeping the details available when you want them.

What guides Vane

Personal, useful and understandable.

Personal

Your weather can learn you.

Vane is designed around individual weather comfort instead of assuming the same thresholds work for everyone.

Transparent

The forecast stays visible.

Personalization is context on top of the weather, not a replacement for temperature, rain, wind, UV and the rest of the forecast.

Private

No ad profile required.

Vane has no ads, no cross-app tracking and no separate Vane account. Personal data can sync through your private iCloud database.
